volunteer with lapeer community theatre
Lapeer Community Theatre is powered by volunteers who help bring productions, events, script reads, educational opportunities, and community programs to life. Whether you have years of theatre experience or you’re completely new and just curious, there is a place for you here.
While performers are an important part of every production, there are many ways to be involved with LCT that do not require stepping on stage.
Volunteers help with costumes, props, sets, lighting, sound, stage management, front-of-house, marketing, photography, events, committees, and more. Some roles happen during rehearsals or performances, while others can be done on your own schedule.
If you’re interested but not sure where you fit, reach out anyway. We would be happy to help you find a place to start.

What to expect
Volunteer needs vary depending on the production, event, or time of year. Some opportunities may require a larger time commitment, while others may only take a few hours.
When you reach out, let us know what you are interested in, what experience you have if any, and what kind of time commitment works best for you. We’ll do our best to connect you with an opportunity that fits.
